This TeamGenius Privacy Policy explains our practices, defines our users’ (“you” or “your”) privacy options and describes how your information is collected and used by TeamGenius Systems, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “TeamGenius”).   By using the TeamGenius websites or any of our applications, products, services, features, tools, or resources (our “Services”) you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions. This Privacy Policy, along with our Terms and Conditions governs your use of the TeamGenius websites at www.teamgenius.com; www.teamgeniuslabs.com and app.teamgenius.com (“Sites”), our mobile application, and any information we may access through social media platforms such as Twitter or YouTube. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, we will refer to all of these access points as the TeamGenius system (“System”).   We reserve the right to modify this policy from time to time and will mark new versions with a corresponding effective date. We recommend you visit the Sites to review any changes in our practices. Your continued use of the System constitutes your agreement to our then-current Privacy Policy. Our System may contain links to other websites. These websites may have privacy policies different than our Privacy Policy. The System may also contain certain social media icons or widgets. Although you can view the material we have linked to, you may have to create an individual account or register to use these third-party social media sites to use interactive features. Any interaction on social media websites is governed by the terms of use and privacy policy of the particular platform.

Children’s Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is in accordance with applicable global privacy laws, such as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (also known as COPPA) and outlines our practices regarding information collected from and about children who use our services. Persons under the age of 13 are not permitted to create accounts unless their parent has consented in accordance with applicable law. In all cases, younger users should always check with their parents or guardians before entering information on any website or mobile application and we encourage families to discuss their household guidelines regarding the online sharing of personal information. In order for a child to fully participate on any of the Sites, no personally identifiable information is collected from a child until such time as verifiable parental consent is received from the child’s parent or guardian.

Registration

Registration is completed through our website at teamgeniuslabs.com or through our mobile applications and verified using a monetary transaction, such as a credit card, debit card, or other online payment system that provides notification of each discrete transaction to the primary account holder.

We have made efforts to design the System to be what we think is child appropriate. However, no system can be error free and we encourage you to supervise your child’s use of the System and teach him or her about protecting themselves and their personal information online.  In the event that we become aware that we have collected COPPA-restricted personal information from any child other than as permitted under that law, we will dispose of that information or otherwise treat it in accordance with COPPA law and other applicable laws and regulations. Information We Collect

We may collect personal information from you on our System or through any other digital or personal communication between you and the System. Information collected by us is voluntarily provided by you and may include information such as your name, email address, phone number, and physical address.

We may collect and store persistent identifiers (e.g., cookies, IP addresses, etc.) from Children without parental consent for the purpose of supporting the internal operations of the Service or as otherwise permitted under COPPA.

When you create an account for your child, we’ll ask for personal information about them, like their name, date of birth, gender, height, and weight. You or your child may choose to share certain additional information with us. If a Service is directed to children under COPPA, we may ask users to verify their dates of birth before collecting any personal information from them. Those users that indicate they are children are either blocked from the activity or taken through a parental consent process.

For a user who is a child under the age of 13 years, we either will obtain parental consent before allowing the child to use these interactive features and services or will use reasonable technical measures to delete all or virtually all personal information from a child’s postings before they are made public and also delete such information from our records. How do we Share User Information?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our Sites, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

How do we protect User information?

We maintain administrative, physical and technical safeguards for all user information collected by our System. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

Behavioral Advertising

We may use third-party vendors, such as Google AdSense, to advertise to our users online. These third-party vendors may display TeamGenius product advertisements on other websites based on your internet usage. More specifically, these vendors use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytic cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits to the Sites or another site affiliated with TeamGenius products or services. Any information that these third parties collect via cookies is not linked to any personally identifiable information (name, address, email address, or phone number) we collect or you provide on the website. You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising by using Google’s Ads Settings.

How Can Users Limit Information Collected?

By providing information to us or using our System, you are consenting to our use of your data as outlined in this Privacy Policy. While we work hard to use and disclose our users’ personal information only for the purposes identified above, you can choose not to provide personal information or limit the personal information obtained by us as follows:

You may have your contact information removed from our marketing lists to inform users of new or relevant products, services, and special offers by clicking on the unsubscribe link in any communication received from us or by emailing us at info@teamgenius.com;

You may limit the collection of “cookies” through your browser settings. However, this may disable our ability to provide you with the most relevant products or information regarding the System; and

You may limit the ability of Google Analytics to track your online activity, as outlined in the “Behavioral Advertising” section.
